Windows Movie Maker is a free tool that has been around for a while but continues to be one of the standard and staple business tools for many online business professionals. Windows Movie Maker allows any business professional to do basic and advanced editing functions.
I have used Movie Maker to do some very basic editing of a couple videos. The ease of use of the movie maker system made it possible to think that high quality professional videos are indeed attainable with this free tool.
The tool allows for separation of video and audio tracks. Import audio and video in multiple formats. I particularly like the easy implementation of the transitions and effects options. To be honest, I’d literally be here for days just going over everything this powerful software can do. So what I did was searched out some very useful and bite-size video tutorials that I think will be helpful in learning how to do the basics of professional video editing with this tool.
Check out the guys over at Atomic Learning where they’ve compiled various video tutorials that will quickly get you up and running.
