If your in the business of sending multiple packages and boxes, you may want to consider the free shipping scale ($50 value) that Stamps.com is offering. The scale weighs a maximum of 5 lbs. This is great for many auction and eBay sellers that do many shipping transactions.
This is a 4-week free trial offer where Stamps.com will give you full access to try out their system. Unlike many other trial offers that don’t really give you enough time to fully try out the offer, this 4-week trial should be enough time as they allow you to immediately download the software to your system.
Along with your free-trial you also receive $5 in free postage to get you on your way with using their system and a free supplies kit. If you do decide to become their customer beyond the 4-week trial period, you will receive $20 in free postage as a thank you for doing business with them. To help you get started using their system they also give weekly webinars that you may sign up for.
So What Will It Cost You?
You will have to pay $9.99 for shipping and handling to have the scale sent to you. You may elect to not have the scale sent out in which case you pay nothing and can still take advantage of their 4-week trial period while keeping the $5 free postage and supplies kit.
Cancellation Details
Stamps.com will not charge you for use of their system as long as you cancel within you free trial period.
To cancel contact Customer Support at 1.888.434.0055. Their operating hours are Monday – Friday 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pacific Time.
Update
Just want to post some photos of the actual items that shipped out. I was surprised at the speed at which the items arrived to my residence. I signed up for the service on a Friday. The item shipped out the same day and I received the shipment on Monday. How’s that for speed? Looks like the current scale is a bit different from the one we received before. This particular scale hooks up to your computer through the USB input. The previous scale was a digital reader that displayed on the actual scale.
In addition to the scale they sent a stamps sheet, themed stamps sheet, and shipping labels. They also sent along the $20 dollars worth of free postage coupons that can be redeemed after becoming a member.
